My SHO has around 13,400 miles on it. When I purchased it, there were 225 miles on it. Since purchase, I tried very hard to be good for the first 1000 miles but would romp on the gas from a stop light every so often, especially when showing people my new ride. Very few drives go without some hard acceleration. I'm basically driving it like it's a rental. I'm starting to calm down now, but still manage to get on the gas every so often.
Now, maybe I'm being super nitpicky but it feels like there's less acceleration. I wonder if I've gotten used to it or if my torque converter might be slipping more than usual. Am I losing my mind or is this something that's a possibility? If so, is there some way the dealership can run a test to see what remains of the lifespan of the torque converter?
