Top Speed?

I know its electronically limited to 138, but without the limiter does anyone know the real number the V8 goes to? I know the V6 is around 146-150 ish

The V8 is electronically limited to 144.

Chipped, I've heard of cars getting north of 150.

I bounced it off the limiter once, and at that moment it felt like it still had more to go. The car is very happy is quite high speeds.

my stock 91 SHO got to 143. Think thats real close to top end. Its on a straight way. Took some time too !

With my super sho that was super charged got right up to 150 .... and than backed off ... still had a lot to go but getting a tad to fast for me

was the limiter at 138 or 144? ive heard most say 138 but someone else said 144?

The Gen III is limited at 144. I do not know about the Gen I/II.

Gen III not so great off the line...but great high speed cruiser.
