Wish I had some air out here for my pig to breathe. I'd do jumping jacks and back flips if I could put 185 down out here in Denver @ a mile high. Very nice though.

that torque curve is as flat as a 9 year old boy! Gawd, i love these engines.

Has anyone been able to get the actual 210 horses these engines advertised? (stock preferably)

if you do the math figuring 20% dtl for the slushbox he would have more than the advertised ckhp

Thats the converter coming unlocked as you closed the throttle.. you didnt get those numbers.. follow the lines untill it gets to the spikes that will be your high numbers.

Actually 208.5 HP after digging out the chart.

it would be badass to see a atx to mtx conversion on a v8 back to back on the dyno, same car, same motor, just different trans on the same dyno.

Does one think that just by replacing the trans is going to make such a big improvement in peak horsepower/torque? I'm not really sure why it would considering the engine is creating the power, and the engine is not changing.

be interesting to note drivetrain loss differences....

nothing more really

don't think anyone has done a before and after V6 atx to mtx swap either

The manual IMHO does not offer that much more efficiency than a well tuned ATX but does have much better gear ratios.
