Well one of my rear Tokico's is leaking. With them out of the picture, the only other real option (for me-Koni's not yet) is Monroe Sensatracs. But I'm concerned about running this combo. I've driven a cut Moog/Sensatrac SHO before and it rode nice. It could bottom the front suspension under a hard bump, but it had 1.5 off the front and 1 coil off the rear as well(which is what my setup consists of).

Since my car is lighter than stock, I would think this setup would probably work okay. It will obviously not be ideal, but it is no track car either.

Input?

I know they are, as I have run both sets. The Monroe's are not all that soft, and the variable valving, I think, would be enough to keep the rear semi-firm in the corners. Again, plus the fact that the car is lighter only helps matters.

The monroes will work but don't expect them to last over 30-50k miles. Don't waste your money or time if you are getting koni's eventually, just get them now!

Your other struts are good? Have you contacted tokico for a rebuild? I had my bilsteins revalved for 60.

A rebuild? Didn't know that was possible. I know the warranty is gone (but that replaces the damage strut) as they are no longer made. And that the inserts are no longer made as well.
I would assume that some of their internals are compatible with other struts.
I figured since they stopped making struts and inserts that they just cut off all ties with these specific struts.
