Searched the forums but couldn't find an answer. Can I use 245/50/20 tires in place of my 245/45/20 tires without any rubbing? The diameter difference is 1 inch & the sidewall is half an inch taller. Thanks

Should be no problem with stock offset wheels as far as rubbing & other concerns. However, the more important thing is the % difference in overall height, not the absolute difference. You can use this calculator to see the %ages:

and your specific question

If you change all 4 tires, the AWD system will probably be just fine with it. BUT your odometer and speedometer WILL be off a significant amount, over 3% in this case. You CAN have the dealer update the PCM to accommodate, so that is the good news. Or if your SHO is tuned, your tuner can do it for you.

People generally find the 255-45-20 tires to be cheaper and some, also better handling.
