I've never liked the sound of Flowmasters on the V6.
Do a search and listen to some sound clips.

I always thought that the general consensus is Flowmasters will sound like ass on any V6, and Magnaflows will at least sound decent. I had some universal Magnaflows on my old '94 with a Dynomax cat-back, and it sounded pretty good. Right now I have a SHO Source y-pipe and catback with Borlas, and I think it sounds pretty good too. It's been quite a while since I ran the Magnaflows, so my memory may be a little hazy, but I think it sounded pretty similar to my current setup.

lol i can agree on the emotions but there funny to me....and i heard some sound clips the magna flows and the flowmasters, and the only real difference i saw wasthat the flowmaster 40s mad this annoying back rattle when the RPMs drop, other wise there both a real nice deep sound... going with magnaflows but was puttin this up to see if anyone had had problems with either of them

i have the 40s on mine and it does sound llike ass but i think if i put the magnaflow resinator in they will sound much better.
