I just wanted to let people know that the timken private label cam seals are made in Taiwan and they don't work good. I installed two in the rear position and they both leaked. I got an American made timken and it was good.
They seemed to go in easier than they should've. Also when you put it side by side with the American made seal you can see the width of the seal is smaller which I was surprised by. I didn't measure the od with the calipers I have but I think the problem was there.
I never thought there was enough room to get at the rear cam seal without taking the timing cover off. I can probably change one in 45 minutes now without the ford tool. I'd like to buy that tool one day though.
