:confused:Hey, came across this when changing out the 3.2 cam to the 3.0 cam. The timing marks are offset on the 3.2 to the 3.0, I have a 92 FORD Factory service manual to check on the setup. I was going to time them as book says, do I need to check anything else. I have the chain and gear marked so it goes back in the same position.

The timing marks on the belt are different due to the way the belt is routed on the 3.2 v. the 3.0, not due to the cams. You use the 3.2 marks if you have the 3.2 setup w/ a single accessory belt, even if you have 3.0 cams in the heads.

Just line up the dimples on the cam gears with the colored links on the chains.

Or use the cam alignment tool out of the Rotunda kit.
