Timing on my 93 SHO

hi i need some help. I took me motor apart its the 3.2 ive timed single cam cars but never one if these i really need some help now..so any advise or step by step guides ..thanks:wave:

If you plan on playing with your sho mechanicly , I strongly advise you to buy a Ford manual (Helms) , the one that dealers have. Theres plenny on ebay for dirt cheap. Everything is in there. Its the Bilbe every sho owners should have.

It's pretty simple. There are dots on the cam gears which line up with stamped in marks on the rear timing cover, and there is a dot on the crank pulley which should line up with a casting on the engine I believe. Or, use the lines on the timing belt - There are two lines on the top of the belt that align with the dots on the cams, and one line on the bottom which aligns with the dot on the crank pulley (Different for 3.2 and 3.0).


Weird thing is, I can't time a OHV engine, but I might be over thinking them.

myne is a 3.2 do i need to take crankshaft pulley off if so how do i do it ..im so lost the timing is al thats keepin me from starting it .... and i have no money for the book so im kinda skrewed ...so if anyone can help me plz pm me im in glendale az
