Greetings! I've been a visitor to the forum for some time but now I'm happy to be aboard. I've owned my '92 for about 4 years now and have done a good bit of the maintenance myself so hopefully I can help other forum members with my hard earned knowledge and wisdom.
I have a question for you folks. I have seen references to throttle cable lubing in past postings but no procedure for this. What is the best product to use and the best way to apply it? Thanks.

A simple way to get some lubricant into the throttle cable is to remove the cable from the throttle shaft end and remove the bracket that secures it to the throttle body. Raise the cable end up and work the **** into the cable end. I use a hypo-type needle with light grease and inject it under the rubber boot and into the cable sheath as I work the cable in and out.
