hey guys, this is my second throttle cable, used and basically they dont even last 6 months, its quite annoying. I was wondering why cant we get the 93-95 cable? i mean, the Throttle body is the same right? Has anyone with a 91 or 92 sho got a new 93-95 throttle cable and used it? does it work, because my sho is pretty much slow without a new cable, it revs fine in neutral, but onces you put it in gear, its like i can feel it kink through the gas pedal. Basicall, once im at partial throttle, i floor the car, it still feels like its at partial throttle, theres like no noticeable increase in throttle response. Man, the stock cable kicked ass, the car was always great and fun to drive, now it totally sucks. I want to get a 93-95 cable, anyone else?

My 92 with over 237,000 miles runs just fine on it's original cable. Maybe your's is kinked, or needs adjusting?

how do u adjust it? Also it seems to have no increments in throttle response, theres no gradual increase in response. like its pretty short travel, its at wot or floored way before its at the floor. So how do i adjust it? i thought it only goes on one way?

In what manner is the cable failing? You need to correct the cause of the failure mode to stop your problem. My car is still on the original throttle cable. If they get sticky, lubricate them.

im not sure what manner cause i cant look at while the car is moving. I know the TB opens all the way when the car is off. Cause i pop the hood and have someone floor the gas pedal, and theres no more slack, so i know it goes WOT. But once its running and goes in gear, all bets are off, it kinks and bends it seems, because partial throttle is like full throttle, and its like pedal pressure doesnt corrospond to throttle response if u know what i mean. I wish someone who knew shos would drive my car, they would know what im talking about. Its not smooth at all, its jerky, and i replaced TPS, that didnt fix it, made the pedal firmer, but i had a feeling it was the cable. So why cant a 93-95 Throttle cable fit on a 92, whats so diff?
