Ok, again, i am realatively new to the SHO world. How do i tell if my tranny is ready to be swithched. I have 112K on my 93 and as far as i know, it has not been touched. fluid was replaced at 75k. it does not seem to slip at all, but does seem to shift pretty weak though. I go around a corner at about 10-15mph, then hit the gas to accelerate, and it takes a while to kick in, then hits hard. any info would help.

My trans had 98,000 on it it failed. I was idling down my driveway and it felt like someone slipped it into neutral. Never moved under it's own power again until the trans was yanked. Upon inspection, we found the front pump shaft broke all of the splines off the pump impeller. The rest of the trans looked fine. As far as the low RPM condition is concerned, that's pretty normal. It is refered to "as down shifting runway" and is a problem that TransGo says their shift kit cures. I had a Ford tech completely rebuild my trans with a TransGo kit, still does the same thing.
In your case I would:
A) Keep an eye on the ATF, looking for burned fluid
B) Put in one extra quart above the full mark.
C) Save my money for a re-build with a shift kit.
D) When it does need a re-building, contact Doug Lewis.
There are two kinds of SHO ATX's. Those that have failed and those that are going to fail. wink

Nope, there are 3 kinds of ATX's.
(1) Those that have failed.
(2) Those that are going to fail.
(3) Those that have been rebuilt by Doug Lewis at Fordspecialists.com and are bullet-proof

What does Doug Lewis do that is so special?

He works his "voodoo magic" on them and they just don't break. It even handles my custom built Supercharged engine. There is no way that you are making that much power unless you are blown/turbo/nitrous.

v6 tranny rebuild $2200
v8 tranny rebuild $2800

It is a lot of money up front however, you won't be able to blow it up. You can then spend money on other goodies instead of the pitiful atx tranny "upgrades".

Referencing your 'dummy light' post, there's a good chance that you may have one or more sensors out-of-whack, which is causing your tranny to shift poorly. Typically, a bad/failing TPS (throttle position sensor) can cause the operating issues you've described. Run the codes and resolve those issues, and the shifting problem might be resolved in the process.
