I have read about a valve lash procedure getting passed around. I could barley afford the parts for my 60K so a video and a new Helm manual are out. Could someone e-mail this to me? Thanks in advance. [email protected]

Scott P. is the one with the plan, and I suspect he'll see your post and email you the info.

FWIW, used Helms manuals are frequently on eBay for short $$$, or you could opt for the CD-ROM version that some people sell (that is an exact copy of what's in the Helms) for around $15-$20.

Thanks again for the info Scott. I would also like to say that everyone here is awesome with all the help that is provided. I would be totally lost without everyones help. Thanks for turning me into a true SHO Nut.

Matt, I would still consider the $20 for the video in addition to written assistance. It's worth the money.

I am sure it is but like I said in my orignal post I can't afford to purchase one right now. I wish I could have gotten it since I see it is recommend by so many people and I am sure it would have saved me a lot of "how the heck does this come off" time.
