Well, only one snapped off, and as far as I know all the others are still perfectly fine. Wednesday works fine. I'll have enough time to get some things done around the house before I come down. Thanks a ton for your help.

Tom, are you going to bring the Gen 1 to the SHOdown? How's the ATX coming along? Is The Other Woman going to be giggling down the strip? :naughty:

Dustin, I'm hoping you made it home without any further problems. Did the new rotor feel okay? How about the PS?

Nick, The ATX is back together but has a few issues that need to be addressed.

The 91+ still needs the clutch process started. I'm just waiting for some parts.

I will be bringing The Other Woman, and yes, she will be giggling, but only above 3950 rpm's. Still no drag tires though so I will be running the BF Goodrich knobbies.

How about a head count for the barbeque on Saturday. We'll supply everything except maybe we could talk Karla into making some of those great chocolate chip cookies she is known the world over for.

You do know that I make those cookies that Karla is known for?

I will have 3 (Me, Joshua, and my brother).

My mom and Karla will be there later with Rachel as they are going shopping. I have a hotel booked near the airport as the racing will go late.

Hey my internet is working!

I have to work until about 5:30 Saturday, do you think I should meet up at Dooleyville, or some place between the track and Toms? I work at the Jiffy **** on Ray & Rural in Tempe fyi. I'll be bringing my new maxima to see what it can do just for kicks. This car is so sweet, real quiet, smooth, soft, luxurious...yup I'm happy.

I'm guessing we will have left Tom's by then as we will go grab a bite to eat and head over to the track. It is an hour to the track from Tom's. This still baffles me that a city can be 1 hour wide, but alas it is. bring ur ride and meet us at the track. Careful racing a car you just bought. Dont want to break it eh?

The next time you see a recent one of those composite night-time shots of the entire US, look at how big the Phoenix metro area is compared to any of the other bright blobs. Phoenix is larger than LA geographically.

I think I will just meet you all at the track, it'd be easier that way. I certainly don't want to break my new car, you're right. However, I don't drive too differently on the street vs. the track anyways! ;) I certainly won't beat on it, but I want to see what times I can pull. Maybe if it's close to 15's I'll try again though.

18 is close to 15 right? I mean in the cosmic sense of the word its closer than 1 billion.

Guys,

Not sure if I'm going to be able to make it. Finally got done with a real busy time at work and just want to put my head down for a bit.

Are any of the other V8 owners gonna be there to fly the flag for the Gen3's?

Also would have been nice to have someone 'walk' me through staging and actually ******* it down the track.

We'll see what happens.

Rav.

Wow, it looks like were going to have a small turnout for the barbeque. Just means more cookies for me.

Darn it!! Rav beat me to it. Ya, I might not show for fear of being whooped by Joe's ****-ma :D J/K. No, my good friend is coming to visit this weekend from Iraq and then he goes back for a year or so to regulate. We'll see tho, I might just have to come and stomp everyone without a tube chassis. ;)

Well I suppose someone has to go and represent the V8's.

I'll try and drag my sorry self up there and clunk away.

Tom, do you need me to bring anything for the BBQ?

Should I bring some tea bags up, for us to have afternoon tea?

What time is kick off?

Come on Nik and Chuck get those V8's out and as they say on MTV 'represent'!!
