I've seen it put in the new F150s. It's a bit buggy sometimes from what those guys are saying. Depends on your expectations as to how happy you are with it. If you expect some quirks going in, it's fine. If you expect it to work like Ford installed it- you will probably not be happy.

I hate to give up the only **** I have on the center stack.

Anyone ever end up picking one of these up? I read that it may not work with the heated seats and auto start? That was also mentioned back in Dec 18 on an F-150 install, so maybe with some firmware updates it's good to go now? I could really get behind this if so. It's around half the cost of retrofitting a newer infotainment in to my 13.

It would be nice of their website stated what the known issues are so you could make an informed decision. If the heated seats and auto start are lost then that would be a deal killer for me.

Yes I saw these too. I checked and they emailed me back. The heated seats are retained but cooled seats are not. Also sirius radio has to be launched through an app. That means you need a wifi hotspot to use it. Also I think the angle of our radio counsel would cause glare from the sun. The truck models are more vertical. The rhino radio looks exactly like the Pheonix. There website has a lot of questions answered. Read through them. Focus and fusion are similar.

Some of you know that I purchased one of these over two months ago and known problems that I had that nothing plugged in. Got ahold of them a week ago found out they sent me the wrong unit for the car so they're sending me a replacement. I will keep you updated when it comes in

Please post an update once you get the correct unit, because I'm wanting to get the telsa screen for my car.

Maybe it has something to do with sync 3 vs sync 2?

I wonder if it would work with my 2018? Since it's for 2013-2016...

I think it is probably a connector issue and dash issue. I have a 13 and I have Sync 2.

So when the sho first came out, it had SYNC gen 1 with next gen navigation. In these systems the navigation system is integral to the Audio Control Module.

In later systems (gen 2 and 3) the ACM is one module and the APIM controls the touchscreen. I cant recall if the FCIM and HVAC are separate on gen 2 systems, but they are on gen 3 systems for sure recalling my 2016 unit.
