Tape holder in console is lame...

Does anyone have any neat tricks or mods for the lame cassette holder in the console? I haven't even owned a tape in ten years and I want to do something constructive with this area on my console. Thanks!!

You can put gauges there......or a cb radio. I plan on putting a cb in mine

I put a cd changer control there looks nice and is convenient. I always have my fingertips there and looks nice. People always ask me what it is.

Mine's become a cupholder. I didn't do anything to it; it's just that the two cupholders behind it are too hard to reach with the armrest down. So the tape thingie now holds drinks, and the two cupholders are now junkholders.

checkout cincysho.com they have gauge panels depending on your year. 94-95 they have two and three gauge panels. i got the the 2 panel for mine looks nice with autometer gauges.

might want to install a center channel speaker there, since the new thing is surround sound, or install a Sony minidisk changer - fits in perfectly with a little cutting. Seems kinda low for view guages very well; I got an A pillar pod guage holder from Innovative for guages, used Greddy guages.
