Tach Problems

Tach drops when i get into the gas somebody told me to check the dis module. WHERE IS THE DIS MODULE

stand on the passenger side of the car facing the front passenger tire and antenna with the hood open. it is located on the passenger side of the intake manifold. Its mounted on the side of it and reads Motorcraft DIS. It has 2 connections (wiring harnesses) attached to it, it is grey in color and is the size of a audio cassete or something.

This module gets it's power from ground. On the rear passenger corner of the intake there is a bolt to the intake and a wire. Make sure it has a good connection.

Also check that the module itself is mounted right- and that the plugs are on good.
