so my seats are sucking, ones ripping, they are all dirty, and the plastic trim is shot around the sides........ given the chance, if I find something nice in the j/y maybe I'll buy it.... but I was wondering what would swap over

first off we know any SHO/Taurus seats fit gen1-gen3... how do gen4 seats fit?

also how about Lincoln Continental seats from the 4.6 DOHC years?

then I thought I've heard supercoupe seats were very similar.... we had a XR-7 in the other day with some nice comfy seats, and from briefly looking at it, the front seat brackets seemed the same..... any word if seats from the t-bird/XR-7/MK8 type cars bolt onto the SHO chassis?

its getting harder and harder to find nice SHO seats...... but I see these other cars with decent seats all the time........

T bird SC should has the same front seats but might need to use your base, I think the rear seat is narrower but I saw one that was split fold. Only problem is they're about as common as SHOs in the JY. Almost any taurus seat should fit the base. Gen 1/2 bases bolt in, Gen 3 fronts I think bolt in but use a different electrical connector, and the rear would need to be adapted. I don't know about gen 4, but I think there was somebody on here wanting to try it, and I can always go measure that.
