Hey guys, I have a 2012 SHO that's supposedly not compatible with Android Auto. I'd like to find out if that's really true.
Does anyone have a Sync 3 update stored on their computer that they're willing to share? I have a feeling the system will run some checks and fail if I try to install it. I have the latest update for MY CAR (Sync 1/MyTouc) saved as a backup.
My thought is that I can modify the install file to look for my Sync info and make it install. OR compare my file to that of a Sync 3 file and add it to my install file and re-install.
I've been hacking my phone since 2009 and installing things that Google says isn't available for my phone. Software is software. As long as the hardware can support it, it can be made to work.
I understand the risks and I'm willing to take them. Thanks in advance for any files that you can provide.
