The dreaded- "system off to save battery" message. Only this time it occurs while driving. Alternator is charging fine, battery is brand new motorcraft tough max I just put in and have reset the bms system. Because it happens so often I went in with forscan and disabled the bms system until this weekend that way I can listen to the radio and have a/c function etc. I have been able to narrow it down to either power supply issue from bcm or ground issue. radio is only receiving 10.1 volts while battery at 13v. almost 3v drop which would explain why it keeps cutting out while driving. Will have an update in regards to proper diagnosis and repair this weekend. posting because i have yet to find anyone else with the same issue.

You posted in the wrong part of the forum.
Check to see what the voltage is from ground on the radio to a good ground on the body. If the ground on the radio is showing a higher voltage then zero then your problem is in that part of the wiring. If the voltage potential is the same as ground, which should be zero. Then the problem is in the power wiring to the radio. Good luck.
