I want to put a Gen II front bumper and lights on my 90. I'm thinking I would need:
bumper
lights
headlight mount
corners
fenders (or can I cut mine?)
hood latch?
hood? (gen II looks abit longer)

IF i do this I will have a complete donor car.

how about a gen II steering wheel on a 90? simple unbolt-bolt in? or would the air bags pose a problem? I 'm not against disabiling the air bag...I am too big to sit far enough away anyway.

Also, what about a Gen II spoiler on my 90?
Bolt-on, or would I need the gen II decklid, and then mod it to fit?

I want to remove my 3rd brake light..anyone know the part number for the rear deck capet (black) without the holes?

P.S. Search came up nada.

Bumper: I am thinking that it should work except for the hood (Gen II is longer than a Gen I hood.) They just did some cosmetic changes and leagthened the chasie a little bit. But if you slide it on right, the original hood should work. I would do some major measuring before purchasing. (Or e-mail me and I will give you the measurements off of the front end of mine)

steering wheel: Answered in other post.

Gen II Spoiler: I have read that it would not work, but there is an '89 SHO with a gen II Spoiler on it (It looks original and sweet!) I compared it to mine (by backing up to it) and it is identical so it should fit, you might need a spacer in it but I doubt it. Just drill the holes in the correct spot.

Rear Window Carpet: Go to Wal-Mart and buy the carpet for $6 (my local one caries black and moca)& buy a can of carpet spray glue, $3. Pull the panel out and pull the old carpet off, glue the new one in, and you will be good to go. Otherwise check jc whitney.com or carparts.com

I thought so...

The car is already in my driveway. My mom bought it for $400, but she missed the fact that it needs a transmission. Now she doesn't know what to do with it. So she might sell it to me for $400. I'd take the body stuff I need, and part the rest out.
