Swap a 1994 cruise module into 1995 ?

Will a 1994 ATX electronic cruise control module work in a 1995 ATX?

The two are identical on the outside, same mounting, same connector.

I would assume so, but you can check here also. It shows the wiring diagrams for both the 94 and 95.

I was assuming so too, but I found this post:

That indicates different pinouts for 94 vs 95, for instance B+ on pin 4 instead of pin 7.

Yet the Narod diagrams show them as the same.

I was looking on that site for 94 its the 3rd diagram and for 95 its the 6th diagram,and they look the same, wiring and all.

Will it work? Yes. There is no difference in the 94/95 ATX CC systems. I have swapped units between my 94 ATX and 95 ATX with no problems.

I've never owned an ATX, but I thought that module was under recall by Ford for all ATX and not for any MTX.

correct. but its not the module for the recall, the deactivation switch is the reason for the recall....
