I have a slight surging that can only be noticed when the car is in neutral and I look closely at the tach. I was wondering if anyone had this before and if cleaning the IAB valve would help this prob??

Surging is one of the symptoms of a IAB valve not working well. A good cleaning of an IAB after it is removed from the intake should help. You need to be able to clean the piston inside the IAB valve and the only way you can get to it is after you remove it.
