surging with eact on.

yep. when the eact is on, and the rpm are above 2k its surges 1-200 rps. also my rad fan is ALWAYS on when the eact is on. even when its on heater. it didnt do this before. this started after one of my coolant hose claps failed. i dont know what one it was but it was by the oil filter. its sprayed all over the rad fan and that general area. thats about all the info i have.

Sounds like your AC is low on charge. If the pressure in the system is slightly above 25 psi it will kick on the compressor and will shut off when the pressure goes below the 25psi. This will feel like surging. Try selecting vent or floor these 2 modes to not call for the AC to be on.

my ac is completely discharged. i watched for the clutch to in gauge. it never does. but i think your right. it seems like the car thinks the compressor is kicking on when it isnt.
