Switches are notorious in the SHO's. Take off the whole assembly and crank the sunroof shut manually before you get rained on. To take off the map light assembly simply pop off the map light lenses.....you will see a scre above each bulb (one on each side), remove these two screws....then push BACK and UP to get the cover off. DO NOT PULL DOWN OR PUSH FORWARD! The back of the cover has "prongs" that clip into a metal piece attatched to the roof. If you pull down or push forward, you will break the prongs off of the cover and have to epoxy it back on. Not that big a deal, but a royal PITA. Good Luck.
