I have a question regarding the rain sense wipers. For me I have it selected to "ON" and when I switch on my wipers it seems they only wipe when there's enough moisture on the glass. Is that correct operation? I am aware the headlights come on automatically when there's so many swipes of the wipers too. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how they work? The less moisture, the less they move, the more the moisture the more they move correct? Regardless of where i set my wiper switch?

For me, automatic has 3 settings. Off, slow, wide open. All 3 settings toggle within the few rain drops. It's like it's checking to make sure it's really raining so it'll go for about a half dozen slow swipes. Once it confirms that it's really raining it turns up to 11 and stays there until the rain stops and it's made a dozen dry swipes.
If someone knows how to adjust it to actually have a medium setting, that'd be great.

Sounds about right, I'll have to check later as I think we have rain coming later this afternoon. The quirks of these cars are interesting. Haven't used auto Hi beam yet but my drivers headlight aim isn't straight ahead lol

I really like my headlight settings. It high / low beams as it should. Sometimes I forget when I'm driving my truck and go miles without ever high beaming.

This may be model year specific -mine works great at about 5 different automatic speed settings. If anything it can be over sensitive and I turn it off. I believe the switch is basically a sensitivity level, three settings.
High beams are great also, but also overly sensitive and can be blind to dim taillights or very dark vehicles -ive had a few people think I was flashing my lights at them.

I think you're right! The higher you flip the switch forward the more sensitive it is and will have the wipers going a bit more.

I keep mine on the first click. That way I can cut it off easily when it turns up to 11.

I do as well! It works good and the bonus is the lights come on automatically when the wipers are on too! Nifty feature i must say!
