Hi I have a 2011 SHO that I bought in November. Sunroof has worked fine until the weather turned hot . Now every day the temps get into the 90s the sunroof vent function actuates, If it's a cooler day it doesn't do it. It never does it at night. The other day I went out to check on it and it was just barely open, the weatherstrip was still touching the roof. I was talking to one of our tech about it at the car for about 5 minutes and while we were talking it opened another 3/8 of an inch. SO not only does it open in the heat but it opens imperceptibly slow. Any ideas? And it is not the remote, it does it if the car is home and I have the remote in my pocket at work.
Thanks, Bill Fox

Thats strange. My first guess would be maybe aftermarket weather stripping maybe swelling up alot in the heat and forcing the sunroof to raise or something. Hopefully someone has dealt with this and can help ya out.

Bill these moonroofs are notorious for water clogging in the drain tube. Once taken apart they need resetting and programming you can find in these threads. That said slow... Sounds like it's shorting out to me.

You can put a meter on the fuse and watch for vampiric drain. You might want to pull the fuse in the meantime to keep it randomly opening.

Just my two cents.
