Well ladies and gentelmen, I have officialy painted, yes painted the sunfoor door. The felt was falling apart so i ripped it all apart and painted it. It looks great. I dont know how to paste pics but if anyone wants to see and knows how to post pics feel free to tell me how and ill update this post. :thumb:

That does look really good- without the hassle of finding fabric, cutting, recutting, starting over to re cut again, gluing, aahhh!

Sorry I know this is an old post but can someone tell me how to remove that piece? I want to strip whats left of the felt off mine...

you've got to put the sunroof to the tilted (up) position. Then you unscrew the three screws that are attaching the sunroof to the slider brackets (3 on each side). Take off the sunroof glass, then the "visor" should pull up out of the car. be careful not to strip the screws, or you might ruin the brackets. I did this in mine and it was a pain to find a replacement... :thumb:

Great thanks for the info. Thankfully I have 2 SHO parts cars so I am in luck if I strip it. Both freakin screws to remove the overhead console were stripped :( What a PITA they were to get out
