So, buying a new relay worked.. hmm.

I never said that. I said I'd try swapping the relay and I'll see what happens. I'm now confirming it worked. See posts.

Oh I see where the confusion is.

I was saying how I swapped the actual sunroof switch, not the relay inside the glove box.

Actually, JB Weld works great. Granted, I've only had it on for 100K miles and 10 years...
