Great timing! Ordered it for about $60.00 Canadian, thanks so much, I'll keep you guys posted if it solves the issue.

Thanks again.

I hope that does it for you! If it doesn't fix it (and I don't see why it shouldn't), reinstall the old one and keep the new one for if/when it does completely shit the bed.

I have about 75% of a SHO stockpiled in spare parts. It's nice knowing that if my alternator craps out, I have 2 spares that I can toss in real quick. And a spare starter, IAC, 2 batteries, fuel pump, motor mount, IMRC, MAF, TPS, MFS, MLPS, CPS, etc. etc... you get the point.

It never hurts to have spares on hand with these cars.

Oh yes I know what you mean, just last fall I found a 1995 ATX that had been sitting for 5 years. For $200 I got the Alternator, all the interior (Seats EATC Dash etc) Got the trunk and many engine sensors, but I did not get the IAC, :-( my bad. Too bad i have such a small garage, now my backyard (In a townhome) is looking very White-Trash like with a trunk lid just sitting there. :)

Okay guys, I received my new IAC from ROCK AUTO today. 10 minutes later I have it on. (BTW cardboard seal? :-( ) Started her up and crossed my fingers....
Idled just fine while cold, but after 2-3 minutes, it goes right back to bogging down. As the engine gets warmer it gets worse and worse. Never stalls - almost seems like it's misfiring. If i give it just a little gas (900 - 1000 rpm's) she runs just fine.
So if it's not the IAC what else can effect the idle?

Thanks,

G.

Wires and plugs are only 1,500 KM's old. Maybe O2's - I know very little about the TPS - does it throw a code and is it easy to change?

Tps may be a good start. Coolant temp sensor maybe? If the ecu still thinks the engine is cold, it may be staying in open-loop and causing it to over fuel. Whatdo the plugs look like? Are they getting fouled?

Ran the codes today. Had a MAF voltage above normal. Swapped it with my spare, re-checked the plug wells, and found one other plug well with fluid (Antifreeze) in it. Cleaned the plug well and got the other MAF on, and, voila, it runs and idles fine now.

Thanks for all your help guys.
