I might just leave all the timing stuff alone, from my undwrstanding most of it doesnt really go bad and I think i might pull the engine and rebuild it next year anyways, so maybe ill just go with the bandaid for now.If you didn't pull your valve cover, remove the oil fill cap and use an injection mirror.
I dont know about the cross compatibility of the na/eb engines. The timing cover kit has the crankn seal it looks like and the gasket set for the intake. I was mistaken and though the kit without the silicone was a lot less. Its not.

I looked at the different kits and they all appear to look rhe same and use the same materials between the eb/na so please someone let me know if they know otherwise.
