I am in the process of redoing my stock jbl system that the PO cut out! I found that the stock subwoofer was blown, so I cut the hole out and installed a 10" rockford fosgate that I had....I have everything working properly except for the sub....I have power to the sub amp, but nothing is coming out of the sub! any ideas for me! I know the sub is good so that is not the issue! But I am stumped!

Well if the sub has power but no sound it makes me think its not getting signal from the amp or the Head Unit.

crack open the amp and check the solder points for the wire coming out if there ok take a volt ohm meter and see whats coming out it could even be a bad capacator in the amp

Now the two black wires you see on the left side are going to the subwoofer.

I remember when i bought my first SHO it did not have the jbl in it. I added it but did not use the black box that sits between the 2 amps.

Yeah the nut that holds the trunk latch to the lid the left one fell off somewhere and now is a pain in the ars to open the trunk. Sorry Randy'Sho I did not get the top of the black thing for you, could not get a good angle on it.
