bet it hurt the wallet too......................in my jeep i got two ten's w/ 680 watts...................it's enough to rattle the vents and plate if I want it to (which I don't normally - just to put those who do in their place.............)

I used to run a MTX 10" sub in the ported box it came in off the factory amp and I can tell you that it was a ton better than the factory sub. But, it wasn't enough for me so I have since upgraded my system about 3 or 4 times. Just depends on what you loking for I guess.
