Is this a symptom of sub frame bushing going?

1. Loud clunk when car stops medium to quick (You can feel it threw the car)
2. Left front wheel Shakes with the clunk

It seems like the caliper is not letting go when the car bounces back from stopping. Then all of a sudden the caliper rips free.

This starts when I brake quickly, like slam on the brakes. Then it stays for anywhere from a day to 2-3 weeks. This is really annoying and sounds really bad.

If not sub frame what else could it be?

Tension strut rod bushing comes to mind, or control arm bushing that goes to tension strut rod.

It's pretty violent. And last I looked they seemed to be ok.

Now it clunks wail turning and some time accelerating. I'm taking it on a lift Friday, what should I look for.
