Subframe Differences

Just to let everyone know I have used the search function and have read a whole bunch of posts but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I have a 93 mtx and the subframe on the passengers side just broke at the cup on the rear. I use this as my daily driver so I'm kinda screwed here I work 10 miles away and I'm trying to baby it even though I know its not a good idea to drive it at all.
I also have a 93 atx parts car (that I will be posting in the classifieds as soon as I get some pics) that has a seized motor from what I can tell. My question is what are the differences between the atx subframe and the mtx subframe? Are the differences easily fixable? ie. (just moving a motor mount).
I really hope I can do something with this....I'm trying to find a subframe for a mtx for cheap but I'm going to have to spend another 100 on bushings and another 1-2 hundred on motor mounts and most likely some strut rod bushings at the least so I'm looking at a minimum of 500 to fix it and I'm pretty much broke. lol
The other option is I part out/get rid of both of them and drive an old truck for now. I don't wanna part with my sho! I'm too obsessed! lol
Alright sorry for the long post but it's upsetting when you might have to part with the one love of your life.

The atx subframe is plenty different. For one, it sets the motor about 2 inches further forward.

You will want to find an MTX subframe. Maybe you can trade your ATX SF in when you find someone local that has a spare MTX SF.

haha alright thanks for the advise guys. I thought about doing the 96 while I have to replace it, but since it is my daily driver I need it back on the road kind of quick and without spending more than 500 (hopefully!)

the only diff from a MTX to an ATX SF is the tranny mount & the height of the rear motor mount. The MTX motor mounts are what set the motor rearward.

All MTX sub frames are the same.

maybe you can find one in a scrap yard, use your broken subframe for a "core" and get a little off the price. just a thought. have you posted an ad in the wanted to buy section?

I did post in the wanted to buy section and have gotten a couple responses. (thanks guys)
I'm going to be buying/trading with the guys at nesho for a mtx subframe and aluminum subframe bushings. :woo-hoo:
I'm just hoping that the body isn't too rusted out where the subframe mounts up. I'm going to pull the carpet up tomorrow and see if the recall has been done.
