I'm going to get a set of subframe connectors........ does anyone have great experience with installing these, I want the short kind..... my main questions are.. how much welding should be done and where? Also when I go to install them, would it be better to lift the car by the pick-up points of the frame(the kind of lifts I have) thereby releasing the suspension, or should I have them welded on with the car in the air on a lift that supports the car via the tires? Does it even make a difference?

thanks for any input

I would recommend taking them to a Mom & Pop mufflershop.

Have them welded on a lift that is supported at the wheels.

Have them run a full bead down each side of the front and back.

I have the long ones on two of my cars.

The short ones are fine but pretty much for the same money I would go with the long ones.

I've actually heard the shorter ones are better, I'll see if I can find the thread on that in the archive and post it here.

I know a good ma and pa muffler shop with the lift I need who would probably do that...
