Whats the difference in full lenght and shortys? Besides the obvious lenght differneces??

Look here
Are those in that picture full lenght or shortys? I want them to be fairly similar to the ones pictured.
Basically I want the ones that I will notice the most performance with. Are the full lenghts from SHOshop any good?? How about the bittersweet shortys??
Any kind of advice is SUPER appreciated. Thanks Guys!!

In my opnion, any connector is better than none on a unibody car. I prefer the full length myself. Definately worth having, even ona daily driver.

Full length is the only way to go IMO. Stiffens more and gives you great points to jack or use jack stands on.

The fuel filter is still accessable

Is it just more difficult to access? It seems like their is always a buzz about the filter accessability when the SFC's are talked about.

SHOSHO sells them but Beware!!

ShoShop sells them but to my knowledge they just went out of business - they still owe me two strut tower braces so BEWARE of them, they screwed me!

Thanks to Paul nimz, I will have my full lenghts very soon!!

Does Paul or Bob have anymore? Can someone PM me with their contact info?

I just installed a set of full length SFC's on my white Plus...HOLY COW, BATMAN!

The car handles like a short wheelbase 2-door coupe! Even with the car lowered (Moogs) w/ koni's, aluminum subframe bushings, 24/26mm bars, and front STB, that extra chassis stiffening imparted by the SFC's makes a HUGE difference! :thumb:

Less understeer, less plowing. Less body roll. Turn-in is dramatically quicker. Steering is significantly more precise and more stable.. In fact there is a pleasant increase in oversteer. Transitions in and out of "s" curves are amazingly quick. Improved traction in and out of turns (and this car doesn't even have a Quaife yet). I find myself able to brake a lot later before turn-in, with even more control. And the car is more forgiving during moments of excessive driver enthusiasm. :)

My Plus is no longer the Taurtoise slug I was so used to..

Now I want to put full length SFC's on my other SHO's. :dribble:

Those not in a big hurry hang in there a bit longer, I have been in process of making full length set and changing the dumb design on how these are mounted to the car and the tq box..

I have 3/4's now and just need to finish the connector to tie them in together, added weight will be about 10lbs tottal.
