I am having an issue with a couple of bolts acting like they are cross threading. Anyone have this? Is there some kind of fix? What should I do? Any ideas?
Thanks

There is no easy out on cross threaded and/or rust welded in bolts in the subframe that I know of. You do what you would for any bolt under those circumstances. Heat, shock (hammer), etc., and hope it comes out without snapping. If it snaps, you drill.

Thanks. What I was doing was putting them in. I ended up switching the bot twice with one of the others and it finally took. I was getting nervous for a while....

They are cheap enough it's a good idea to buy new ones.

I assume still a dealer item? I will check into them. I got everything together today. Need to fill fluids now, test and install front bumber.
