This is not my cup of tea to make a post like this. Please bear with me here.

He came to my website wanting to buy LCA. Fine, no issue. I heard nothing of an order from him. He asked for tracking numbers and everything. So I figured he was my first (of 3 orders) I recieved, I sent him the tracking number. He told me it was going to OH, he lives in NY. Uh oh I thought. So he called me. We finally figured out it was his paypal account not working correctly. He sent me the money VIA E-check (2 weeks after figuring out his paypal account didnt let him order) I being the nice guy, sent him the parts before the E-check cleared. When we were on the phone, he gave me a different address to send the parts to (no problem, I thought) Oh, shit..... He was not sure of the correct address, but I already sent the LCA's his way. So what does he do? Day after the E-check clears, He disputed it with paypal. Great, I'm thinking...... I just got hosed.... I go out of my way for someone, spend $18.95 to send the LCA to him... and he disputes me.... great... He claims I sent them to the wrong address and I waited 2 weeks to send his parts... Not good... Not my way of business.... Just wanted to let you guys know to watch out for him. I am in no way pleased about this, and I sure as **** didnt want to call dude out on SHOForum, but this is what he gets for taking for filing a complaint when the parts showed up to the post office 2 days after I sent them, and 1 day after his E-check cleared...........


Sorry for the long post guys...... Just had to vent I'm so ****** right now.

Just thought I'd update this. He obviously filed a dispute with paypal, and they ruled in my favor. Its easy to see what he was trying to do. Just watch out for this guy so you dont get burnt selling to him.

Welcome to my world James. People will think your an ASS for waiting, but I've been burned for about 3-5k over the last year and a half ( addind to my issues ) that way.

It's a part of the learning process. When you're new you want to make a good name for yourself and you also have faith that people won't directly rip you off. After you do it for a couple years you realize that many will take any opportunity to rip you off.

In the last month we've written off $4000 in parts/ services not rendered.

Customers complain when their part breaks and we want the broken part back before sending a replacement. Unfortunately we have to because most won't send the defective part back.

This past month I sent a guy two of our brake kits. He was to determine which one he wanted to keep, pay for it, and then send the remaining one back. He claims to have sent the remaining one back (3 weeks ago). We still haven't seen it. His card keeps declining for the kit that he was supposed to keep.

You like to give people the benefit of the doubt but learn right now, don't do it. They won't return the favor to you and in the end it's just more grief and lost money.

As far as E-cheque orders go, our site doesn't even process them as an order until they clear. We don't even know it exists until Paypal tells us we have the money then the site forwards order emails to the customer.

I hear ya, That's the last time I go out of my way for someone I do not know. :wave:
