Sub Size?

My '94 JBL Premium sub surround is toast. Does anyone know the size of the factory sub or an adequate bolt on after market replacement?

I believe it's a 6 1/2" sub (according to SHOtimes), be sure to use at least a 4-ohm sub or you will lock-up the amp (my friend did to his ) The stock amp should put out 85 watts RMS. I got a replacement from the dealership for 60 bucks. Best thing about it is it bolted right into place and the wires connected easily.
The car was totalled by a drunk driver so I have the speaker if you're interested in it.
BTW, it's a long throw 6inch woofer made by JBL.

I finally found that a JL Audio W06 is a perfect drop in replacement. Mounting holes line up and the depth is perfect. Much improved sound. I got 2 of them for $70 for the pair on Ebay. They are a bit rare to find but not expensive. Look on JL Audio website for more info.
