Has anyone ever put a rear mount turbo in one of these cars? Seems like it would save a lot of space and modding under the hood.

yep in the denver area. It's sitting on my lift getting a new crank and rod due to a spun bearing... what questions do you have for me?

Holy crap.... Scott IS alive! I tried getting ahold of you on my trip out last month. I'll be there this weekend and I may need to borrow your TwEECer :(

I think my recent electrical short fried it. Everything is swapped over and it only has issues now when the TwEECer is installed... :frown:

When are you going to have the crank and rod replaced? Do you have it apart? How do the rest of the bearings look?

already have the parts and the oil pan is off. i have to take the head off to pull 2 rods(the bad one and another) to have one replaced, and the other for balancing purposes. all the rod bearings look good minus the one furthest from the pump. text me or amail me cauase i am typing on my phone right now.

How large is your intake piping, and where did you run it? Did Gen 1's come with a single exhaust? If not, did you add one? Thanks. You've got an awesome setup. I wonder why it isn't more common?

my piping is 2 inch and it runs along the frame rail. exhaust was 2-1-2 setup originally now it is 2-1 turbo. its not more common cause no one has really tried it on these cars. only me
