Well I went to go start my car(its been sitting about 2-3 months. and the battery was dead, so I through the charger on, and went to turn the key, as soon as I hit the RUN position the starter I banged on the solenoid a few times with no luck, than took out the ignition switch and gave it a whack and still no luck. I was gonna try a few other things, but locked my keys in the car:(only set i have) Anyway my question is could the solenoid be stuck on? Or would it try turning over all the time than? And lastly if it matters I have a remote starter on my car...Thanks for any help :)

The starter solenoid for the Gen Is is on the driver side fender well immediately in front of the strut tower. On the Gen IIs, the solenoid is mounted on the starter.

I'd first check the battery terminals for corrosion. Remove and clean them before proceeding. It had been a bad season for starters and starter solenoids.

Your definately right about being a bad season for starters. I got stuck in Montreal this past weekend with my SHO, could not get her started when the engine was hot. Luckily it was cold enough for the engine to cool off fast. I was not going to pay $300 dollars to change it up in Montreal and decided to change it when I got back home. So that morning I started her when I got ready to head back to NYC, actually that day it was the longest my car ran. She ran for 10 hours straight, through blizzard conditions in Platsburgh, heavy rain in Albany, and fog going through New Jersey. I started her in Montreal and did not shut her off until I got home in Queens, NY. :)
As far as the starter, I changed it today. Now I have to figure out why my check engine light keeps on coming on

Heh everyone seems to be having problems with their starters not starteing, and mine doesn't want to stop:p. Is there a relay seperate from the solenoid? I thought i read that somewhere. Somehting I think is stuck closed causing the starter to run as soon as the switch goes to run. . .
