stuck door ajar light

this light has been on for a while one day i closed the door and it jsut didnt go off i think it a bad sensor if so were would this be or is it something else also the door handle stuck i jsut sprayed them and they work normal again but hte light still dosent go off ? its annoying thanx steve

Spray some WD-40 on the latch mechanisms in the door.
Works 99.9% of the time.
