This happened to me twice already. The car won't move in drive. The first time it did it it was the coldest day of the year last year. The wife came back from work. I went to move it and I didnt have drive. I had reverse but no drive. The next morning I went to stick it in the garage and it drove fine. I havent had problem since Sat. It did the same thing. It wouldn't go into drive. I let it sit over night then its fine again.

Anyone have this problem before? Its never slipped in any gear so I don't think it a clutch band...but who knows.

It is likely a sticky shift valve in the valve body.

You should be able to pull codes and narrow down the real problem, though - if its not shifting into a gear, it should set a code. Let us know what you find.
