Stranded..crank/no start got the codes

Someone posted before me ignore 542. It just means you stalled the car out since the codes were last cleared, that's all.

G'day...she started right up this morning..as I expected...smooth idle..all normal...after about 10 minutes of driving..she burped..RPM's dropped to zero along with the Check engine light, then jumped back up and everything normal..made it back home..looks like that 211 / 219 code points to the CPS..read 20 posts stating 211 is a classic symptom of cps failure...at least it's confirmed now and I'm not chasing a ghost ground fault...thanks again for all your help...much appreciated...Jeff

Quick question...Rock auto has a water pump for $26...6 left...any good..?? also...which cps should I pick up/or stay away from...??

I was going to say go to autozone, but I don't think there are any by you. They sell a wells brand one cheap. I can't comment on standard. I'm using the wells one.

I think you have a short somewhere because of what happened when you ran that ground wire.

I don't know if i'd trust it, people have had luck with the cardone units, that's what i've been using for 10k.
