Just had my water pump replaced and now I'm getting a strage idle when the climate control is on. When I'm sitting the tach will drop to about 600 and then suddenly raise to about 1100 and slowly work it's way back down again. My car idle fine before the pump was replaced...any ideas of what it could be? I thought it might be the computer releaning its settings but it's been about two weeks.

The computer only "learns" the idle loads during the first 70 seconds after the engine is started after the battery has been disconnected. To reset, disconnect the battery for 15 minutes with the light switch on and then reconnect the battery. Start the engine and without touching the throttle, turn on the A/C, the headlights and turn the steering wheel slowly from side to side.
