Just wondering if anyone knows if the LSHOC is still around? The web site seems to have been abandoned.

The site is pretty much dead. The club is still alive, but from what I can gather, the meetings are a little more spread out than in years past. I know LSHOC still tries to get together at Ford Carlisle, and they had a meeting last spring in Bensalem that I missed. :frown: Unfortunately, to this date I have never been to any kind of SHO meet, unless you count Ford Carlisle when I didn't have the SHO. :frown:

We're still together in spirit.

At some point in the next few months, my father and I may announce that we are going to do a dyno day. There are two shops in the area. One in southeastern Chester County. The other is just off the turnpike northeast of Philadelphia. If anyone is interested, post here. www.xoticmotorsports.com www.jds-high-performance.com

I'd like to get together with the group for a drag day at Cecil, E-Town, or ATCO next April/May. I prefer Cecil for a better prepped track, but any will work for me.

Carlisle will be here sooner than you think.

All it takes to have a meeting is communication here and through Email.

Looks like email notifications were somehow going into the old junkmail folder, so that put me behind a few days. Anyway, there's no time like the present to reconstitute the club!!! I'm down. Can never have enough friends with a passion for SHOs. :thumb:

I would not mind meeting up with some local enthusiasts....I know Terri Hufnagle pretty well but not many other SHO people around me.

I think I know them. Does Justin live in West Chester, and Zero in the Claymont area?

I've sent an Email to JDs performance regarding there group dyno rates and tuning for Logitech chips so hopefully I'll have some more info about the possibility of a dyno day by Monday.

Exactly. Small world. I work with Zero and when I got my SHO he was telling me about this guy and his dad that are into SHOs that his nephew (i said the wrong thing last time) knows. Anyway, long story short, I've heard you have some nice toys. :thumb: I would love to get in on a Dyno day. I haven't done anything (other than stupid odds and ends) since I bought her and I wanted to get a dyno to know where I was sitting at to begin with. I hope to bring back out my Bronco for the winter and get a lot of stuff done to the SHO, she needs a 60k and has the classic oil in the plug well syndrome, but I'd love to know where I am starting at. Whenever you hear anything, let me know.

The LSHOC section of the forum doesn't see alot of traffic, so make sure you post any dates in the open forum. I couldn't make that last one you did back in August I believe.

Just to let everyone know who is interested, I'm still waiting for a responce on my Email. If I don't hear back within a reasonable time, I'll give them a call

If we need/want more participants for the dyno day I'd be happy to post this on the TCCA Northeast Chapter board. I know of 3-4 people in the Philly area with SLOs that would probably be interested in hanging out and getting some dyno time. Quite frankly, I'm curious to see a Duratec with light mods on the dyno. I don't want to crowd the SHO guys out, though, so let me know before I post. :thumb:

Also, if we could round up anyone in the area who's still active we could always try to start a new club. Delaware Valley SHO Club? (DEVSHOC  has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?) I need to go sign up for the TCCA site.

I don't want to make any plans just yet. This weekend, my father and I were going to get started with our SCtuner, but an unfortunate accident has kind of put that on hold. Right now, we're just trying to keep the 92 from being totaled. It doesn't take much of an impact to total a car with a $1500 blue book value :banghd: The car was rear ended by a Jeep at an intersection. Damage isn't too severe, but the car needs a trunk lid, tail lamp, and there is a little sheet metal to pull behind the lamp.

When the time comes to schedule a dyno day, I would welcome a few SLO guys. They're welcome to show up at any planned activities.

Gurt-
If you want to start a club, go right on ahead. I don't think they're is enough interest in the area to make a formal club, but there are plenty enough around to assemble a group for a couple events each summer. That's how it's been for the past couple years. For example, 2004's area events were: breakfast get-together in April (~12 people), www.dynoperformance.com dyno dayin April (2 SHOs), Carlisle in June (28 cars from several states), North Jersey meet in October(10 cars).

Anyone is welcome to work on there own events, just nominate a location and a date. That being said, I'm not the club president or anything, I'm just trying to get the ball rolling. Please help push, it's pretty heavy:thumb:

I'm not far from Boyertown so, along with the Lancaster guy, we can probably get some interest in a Reading area meet...or at least get everyone to go the the Bensalem or KOP gathering...
