Ok so my brother is gone on vacation for a week and I forgot to ask him this question before he left so maybe ya'll can help me in the meantime. The throttle on my 91 plus sticks from time to time which requires me to drop it in neutral and pop the pedal back up with my foot; all the while listening to the car bounce off the limiter. I've had this problem before on my 90 but disconnecting the cruise solved it. On the plus, disconnecting the cruise made this a less frequent occurance but it still happened nonetheless. I did a search and found nothing on how to remedy this (other than disconnecting the cruise control which I've already done). I'm looking for a quick fix here and am not about to disconnect the whole cable just to solve this somewhat infrequent problem. But if any of you know of a spray (like WD-40 ect.) or something that would help fix sticky throttle syndrome please let me know. I'm open to all suggestions that don't involve removing the cable itself. My brother and I just did a clutch and ASFB's so I'm really tired of working on this car hence the reasoning behind not wanting to do much work to fix this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. :thumb:

Remove the throttle cable from the TB by turning it all the way open and pulling the cable out. Then check too see if its the TB or the cable thats sticking.
