Sticky Shifter on ATX

Recently my '95 ATX decided it doesn't like to come out of drive without some force. It has no problems shifting out of any other gear. I'm pretty sure it's not the BOO switch because it shifts out of park just fine and the brake lights work. Any ideas what it could be?

Ok, the problem seems to have mysteriously stopped. I'm not sure what it was.
