Steering Wheel!

Ok I have a 91 SHO and the leather on top of the tan steering wheel is UGLY. I want to get a brand new one. Now.. does Ford still sell them, and also can I buy one without the airbag and have my mechanic transfer my airbag into the new wheel? I really really want a brand new one as I am totally revamping this car to showroom condition. Bothers me to have something right in front of you look so ugly!

You can buy a new one,but it`s a few hundred bucks.I grabbed one out of a junkyard SLO and it looks great.The airbag just unclips and clips right back in,there is absolutely no reason to have a mechanic charge you for 3 minutes of work.

Ok sweet deal.. The reason I want to go with brand new as opposed to a junk yard is that a junk yard wheel might have wear you don't see yet and won't last nearly as long as a new one. What are they about 200 even for a new one or right around there?
